PJ is a ghost. This means, in his canon universe, that he can neither be seen, heard, or felt by anyone who isn't either dead or a Spectral: someone with the innate ability to harness the power of spirits and use it offensively in a symbiotic sort of way. So, dead for all intents and purposes. I'd really love to do things with that here, especially because if and when PJ grows into his game powers and gets a little bit of confidence that may change.

To that end, please reply to this permissions post with whether your character can interact with PJ in person! If you're uncertain, I'd say any character who has interacted with spirits in any way in their canon would be acceptable (So, obviously Casper the friendly ghost would be able to see and talk to and touch him, but so would, say, the Ghostbusters).

Ken I'm on the fence on -- he's had plenty of experiences with Digimon, some of which are patterned after ghosts, and also possibly some interaction with some evil Digimon that were in between death and rebirth. But that's more the function of creatures that don't permanently die, then supernatural things that keep humans around.

(If not, it would mean that neither of my characters can see their server in person, since Lafiel's server is Hobbes.)

Hmm. I'd say Ken probably cannot, since Digimon are very different from actual ghosts (being data patterned after ghosts, in the cases of the ghost-shaped ones, and never actually 'dying' in season one so much as having their data broken up and sent back to the nursery village). If it's any consolation at least Ken'll probably be resigned to this sort of bullshit by this point.

I'm leaning towards Ienzo being able to since he's a Disney/Square Enix and there are ghosts and things around fucking everywhere in his universe (see: the Underworld, Halloween Town) but since one of those is legitimately the realm of the dead and the other is kind of weird I leave it up to you as to whether or not those are real ghosts.

Rocky can't, but he'll pretend REALLY HARD if it makes PJ feel better!

Alice... I don't know. She's technically dead, being a vampire and all. But Meyers doesn't mention ghosts/spirits in her stories, so I have nothing to base that sort of thing off of.

I'd say yes to Alice. Not only is she a supernatural creature that's technically dead, but she's gifted with powers specifically having to do with sight (even if seeing flashes of the future isn't quite the same as seeing ghosts).

Also I just want her and PJ to meet ok.

Gentaro's had a nice old brush-in with death but I would say neither he nor Nico can. There's a possibility Nico could cast a spell for a one-time interaction need or something, though.

Gamzee...might actually. Trolls interact with ghosts (ref: Aradia) and he has spooky powers? Idk idk. I think that Gamzee probably totally believes that a dude is there if someone tells him but won't be able to just notice unless he goes looking with voodoo powers.

Jade and Bianca can't see him (ghost Pokémon probably shouldn't count sight-wise?). Ghostlight would be able to, though, because (if not already by virtue of being a sprite) even if being seen by everyone all the time is just kinda how Pokémon roll, she is technically a ghost. So!! That could potentially be a thing?
